Choose dishes that wait for you
Make the dessert in the afternoon and serve a starter that is cold or only needs warming. Then only the main is cooked while you talk.
One quick main
Pick a main that takes about half an hour once the prep is done, such as steak with peppercorn sauce or miso glazed salmon.
Scale it for two
Our recipes serve four as written. Set WeekTable to two people and the shopping list is scaled for two.
Set the table first
A cloth, a candle and warm plates make it feel like going out. Lay the table before you start cooking.
