A week at the table

Your week,
as a tasting menu.

Tell us who is at your table. We compose the week from 186 recipes of our kitchens, Lagos to London, with one shopping list by aisle, what to do ahead and every step on the day.

1 of 5 Who is at your table?

How many people are eating, you included?

2 of 5 Does anyone at the table avoid anything?

Choose a diet, then any of the 14 allergens to leave out.

Allergens to leave out

Tick any your table must avoid. We leave out every recipe that contains it as written.

3 of 5 Which kitchens do you love?

Pick any you like, or leave them all clear for a little of everything.

4 of 5 How fancy should the days be?

Every day has breakfast, lunch and dinner, and dinner is a tasting menu. Untick any course you do not need, or add a snack.

A walkthrough, in two minutes

How to use it.

  1. Press See a week we planned for four. It is marked Example: a week for four people, peanut free, budget friendly, favouring the Nigerian and Caribbean kitchens.
  2. Read the week like a menu. Each day is a card with its meals, and each meal lists its dishes: dinner runs from a starter to dessert. Do not fancy one? Press Swap beside it, and the next best dish takes its place; a new main brings sides that go with it.
  3. Press Shopping list. Everything for the week is added up, scaled to four people and sorted by aisle. Tick things off as you shop; the things most kitchens already have are listed apart.
  4. Press Prep plan to see what you can do ahead at the weekend, and what time to start each meal.
  5. Press a day, for example Monday, to cook: the ingredients for your table and the steps, in order.
  6. Keep the plan by keeping its link: bookmark it, print it, or send it to whoever is cooking. Then come back here and plan your own.

Allergies. We leave out recipes that contain an allergen you tick, as the recipe is written. Packaged foods such as stock cubes, spice mixes and sauces can contain any of the 14, so check every packet, every time.

Each dish is marked £, ££ or £££ as a rough guide to what it costs, not a price.
